GOV NAMADI REINSTATES 28 AIDES, APPOINTS ADDITIONAL 8

Gov. Umar Namadi has approved the reinstatement of 14 Special Advisers, 6 Senior Special Assistants, and 8 Special Assistants to enhance governance in the State.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

Reinstated Special Advisers are:

1. Dr. Atiku Hafiz – Public Health

2. Saleh Ahmed Birniwa – Youth Mobilization

3. Abdurrahman Alkassim – Local Government Affairs I

4. Haladu Usman (Killer) – Project Monitoring

5. Khalid S. Ibrahim – Support Groups

6. Dr. Habib Aminu Kani – Technology and Innovation

7. Hudu Babangida – Senior Citizens

8. Safiyanu Abba Sankara – Health Matters

9. Haruna Mairiga – Social Security

10. Ibrahim Hussaini Kadeta – Trade and Commerce

11. Ismaila Abdul’aziz – Micro Finance Bank

12. Adamu Idris Andaza – Social Protection

13. Abdulwahab T. Sulaiman – SEMA

14. Hassan Alhaji Musa (Shakara) – Human Resources

The statement listed the reinstated Senior Special Assistants as follows:

1. Hamza Gada Bala – Assembly Matters

2. Hon. Husseini Umar BK – Industrial Relations

3. Hon. Shu’aibu Inuwa Basirka – Nutrition

4. Malam Mansur Shehu – MSMEs and Financial Inclusion

5. Abdurrashid Illah Ringim – JASCO

6. Hon. Aliyu Abubakar Aliyu – Youth Mobilization, Ringim Emirate

Reinstated Special Assistants are as follows:

1. Siraj Muhammad – Project Monitoring

2. Hon. Muhammad Fatihu Adamu – Health Monitoring

3. Hon. Aliyu Umar Abubakar – Health Monitoring, Birnin Kudu LGA

4. Salisu Yau – Higher Education

5. Hon. Haruna Mustapha Jahun – Due Process

6. Hon. Tijjani Sayyadi – Drug Abuse and Rape

7. Hon. Yusha’u Abdu – Health Monitoring

8. Hon. Garba A. Abdullahi – Community Mobilization

Similarly, the Governor Namadi has also approved the appointment of 8 new aides as follows:

1. Professor Muftahu Sa’adu Majia – Technical Adviser on Higher Education

2. Hajiya Salma Wakili – Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship

3. Adamu Yusuf Garkuwa – Special Adviser on Hajj Affairs

4. Mubarak Aliyu – Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs

5. Musbahu Rabi’u Kaugama – Special Adviser on Investment Promotion

6. Bala Sule Kila – Special Adviser on NGOs

7. Umar Sa’idu Janbola – Senior Special Assistant on Hajj Affairs

8. Bayero Maifulani – Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization

The appointment of the appointees is based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.

While congratulating, the new appointees, the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim expresses confidence that their wealth of knowledge and experience will significantly contribute to the enhancement of governance in Jigawa state.

All the appointments and reinstatements take immediate effect.
