The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board says it has so far remitted N6 billion Hajj fare fully paid by some intending pilgrims from the state to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

The board also said other intending pilgrims yet to complete their payments have up to March 7 to do so.

This is contained in a statement by the board’s Public Relations Officer, Malam Habibu Yusuf Babura, made available to The Syndicate in Dutse, Jigawa state capital.

The deadline for the payment of the Hajj 2025 fare was initially January 30, before it was shifted by NAHCON to February 15, and now March 7.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has already secured spaces in Mina and Arafah for 52,000 Nigerians expected to complete the payment of the Hajj fare at the end of the deadline.
