478 officers pass out from Police Academy, Wudil

No fewer than 478 officers on Saturday passed out from the Police Academy, Wudil in Kano State, after completing their training as members of the course 6 regular cadets of the academy.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Commandant, AIG Sadiq Abubakar said that the graduands had been equipped with essential policing knowledge to enhance the security situation in the country.

He said that the college had prepared a solid academic foundation for the graduates to perform optimally.

“In line with the college’s high standards, 17 programs offered by the academy have been accredited by the National Universities Commission. Furthermore, the academy is exploring possibilities for introducing management studies.

“It is my honour to present to you 478 Cadet ASP students, who have successfully completed their training. I commend the federal government for its significant investment in these graduates, which has paved the way for today’s graduation ceremony.

“The graduates’ academic achievements are impressive, with:7 graduates earning First Class honors,128 graduates earning Second Class Upper honors and 268 graduates earning Second Class Lower honors

“These outstanding results demonstrate the academy’s commitment to excellence and the graduates’ dedication to their studies,”he added.
Also, President Bola Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima advised graduates to adhere strictly to the ethics of modern policing while carrying out their duties.
