President Bola Tinubu has departed Nigeria on Wednesday on a private visit to France, his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, has said.
It will be Tinubu’s third private visit to France since his election in 2023 as Nigeria’s president.
The president, who is scheduled to return in the first week of February, had before his departure interacted with a delegation from Master Card.
Present at the meeting were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, and Ministers of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; Health, Ali Pate, and Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa.
Tinubu on Tuesday had bilateral talks with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Abuja.
