Trump Abandons G7 Meeting As Iran Continues To Pummel Israel

US President Donald Trump will leave the G7 summit Monday night, a day early, due to the Middle East crisis, the White House said.

“Because of what’s going on in the Middle East, President Trump will be leaving tonight after dinner with Heads of State,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote on X.

Trump would leave to attend to many “important matters,” she stated.

Israel has been finding it difficult to contain Iran’s barrage of missiles deep into the heart of the country, three days after it attacked critical infrastructure and killed some of Iranian top military officers.

On Monday, several Israeli media reported the collapse of the country’s defence system, which have failed to intercept missiles being fired from Iran.

The Israeli military authorities have accused Iran of targeting civilian infrastructure since it responded to the Israeli aggress.

The US which has supported Israel’s aggression across many countries, including Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and now Iran, is said to have deployed dozens of warplanes to the Middle East on Monday.

Some analysts believe that “America is joining the war started by Israel, because Isreal can’t win a decisive victory against Iran.”
