Radda To Resume Official Duties 3 Days After Traffic Accident – Spokesman
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has been discharged from the hospital where he was admitted following a traffic accident on July 20 in Daura.
A statement on Tuesday by his spokesman, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, said the governor has been certified medically fit to resume full official duties with immediate effect.
He said the governor has expressed profound gratitude to the people of the state citizens and other Nigerians for their prayers, support, and goodwill messages during his brief hospitalization.
“I am deeply touched by the overwhelming prayers and support from our people. This demonstration of love strengthens my commitment to serving Katsina State with renewed vigour and dedication,” he quoted Governor Radda as saying.
The Syndicate recalls that the governor’s vehicle collided with a passenger car conveying passengers along Katsina-Daura road, close to the the school of Health Technology, Daura, with the state government pledging to pay for their medical bells.
