Buji LG Chair Promises Support For Peacebuilding Initiatives, Sports Devt

The Buji local government council chairman in Jigawa State, Arc. Najibullah Falalu Tukur, has pledged total support for initiatives that would promote peacebuilding and the welfare of the people in the area.
The chairman made the pledge during the finals of Late Dr. Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi Unity and Peace Soccer Championship, held at the New Gantsa Play Ground.
“We remain committed to supporting initiatives that promote social welfare, sports development, peacebuilding, and cultural harmony across all our districts,” he added.
Najibullah said it was a privilege for the local council to host the 3rd edition of the championship which drew participats from across Dutse Emirate.
He noted that the championship has fostered “peaceful coexistence, youth empowerment, talent discovery, and community bonding.
“The championship also served as a tribute to the enduring legacy of the late Emir, whose commitment to unity, education, and development continues to inspire generations”.
He commended the organising committee, traditional leaders, youth associations, and all stakeholders who contributed to the success of the event.
