Kano Da’awa group visits patients at Bela hospital in Yada Kunya
Members of the Mujamma’ud Da’awa Group, in Karkasara, have visited the Yadakunya General Hospital, Bela, where and interacted with the patients as part of the group’s efforts to spread the teachings of Islam.
Addressing the patients at the hospital located in Ungogo Local Government Area (LGA) of the state, the team leader, Malam Zakariyya Ahmad, said the visit was to socialise with them and console them over their heath conditions.
Ahmad reminded them on the need to observe the daily five prayers, saying that only insane persons and those unconscious were exempted from observing prayers.
He said so long as individuals were conscious, they must observe their prayers, whether in standing, sitting or lying conditions in accordance with their abilities.
Quoting verses from the Holy Quran and the sayings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him (PBUH), Ahmad said that prayer was the second pillars of Islam, which must be performed by a Muslim, wherever he found himself or herself.
He also urged the patients to see their conditions as trials from Allah, saying that even some prophets were afflicted by diseases as trials from the Almighty Allah.
The group also distributed some detergents and water to the patients as part of the visit.
Prayers were also offered to the patients for their quick recovery.
