SSA To President Empowers 1000 Constituents With N300,000 Each In Malumfashi, Kafur LGAs

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs and other matters, Alhaji Kabiru Masari, for supported 1,000 people with a cash starter capital of N300,000 each to promote self-reliance and employment.

The event, held on Sunday in Malumfashi, Katsina State, was witnessed by the Governors of Yobe, Mai Mala Buni, Kaduna State, Uba Sani, Gombe, Inuwa Yahaya, and Katsina, Dikko Umaru Radda, as well as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, among other dignitaries.

The Syndicate reports that it was the second phase of the empowerment programme by the Senior Special Assistant in the area.

Gombe state Governor, and Chairman of the Northern Governor’s forum Alh. Inuwa Yahaya who spoke officially on behalf of the governors commended Alh. Kabiru Masari for his commitment to improving the economy and lives of the people.

“The support is a good starter capital for the beneficiaries to commence small enterprises that can provide them with self reliance with economic prosperity” Gov. Yahaya said.

In his remarks, Governor Buni commended Masari for the gesture, describing the empowerment programme as a gateway to economic prosperity for the beneficiaries, their families and communities.

The APC National Chairman said that the empowerment programme as in tune with the renewed Hope Initiative of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.

He also hailed the Senior Special Assistant to the President for the concerted efforts of moving his people out of poverty, saying, “this is both commendable and worthy of emulation”.

Also speaking at the occasion, the former Gov of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the support to improve their economic fortunes.

Earlier, the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Alh. Kabiru Masari charged the beneficiaries to use the support for the intended purposes “for you to be self reliant, grow and become employers of labour in the future”.

He assured continuous support to the people to provide them with hope and future in line with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed Hope Initiative.
