Pioneer FCT NUJ Chairman, Suleiman Kaura, is dead
The pioneer chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, Alhaji Suleiman Mohammed Kaura has died on Saturday, in Kaduna.
Kaura, a retired staff of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), died at the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Kaduna.
Late Kaura worked at various parts of Nigeria reporting for both Hausa and English services of the FRCN, including Benue State where he worked for a long time becoming a household name.
He was buried at the Bachama Road cemetery, Tudun Wada Kaduna after a funeral prayer at Maiduguri Road Mosque.
