Bandits kill 24 in daylight attack on Katsina village
Bandits have attacked Doma village in Tafoki ward, Faskari local government area of Katsina State, killing at least 24 people.
Residents said that the attack occurred in the afternoon and lasted till about 4pm, before the bandits withdrew from the village.
The attackers also set ablaze many houses and vehicles, some of the residents who escaped the attack said
There has been no official statement on the attack from security agencies and the state government.
Faskari local government area has been recording series of attacks despite a peace deal signed between the bandits and local authorities in late 2025.
