Jigawa NUJ Ramadan Lecture to commence on Saturday
The Jigawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) wishes to inform the general public that its maiden Ramadan Lecture, titled “JAWABI DAGA MALAMAI,” will commence on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM prompt at the NUJ Secretariat in Dutse, Jigawa State.
In a statement signed by the Acting Secretary of the Council, Comrade Aminu Umar Shuwajo, it was announced that Associate Professor Abubakar Sani Birnin Kudu will deliver a lecture on “The Dangers of Fake News and the Positive Role of Journalism from an Islamic Perspective.”
“The Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, will serve as the Chairman of the occasion,” he said.
Shuwajo urges the general public to attend this important event.
