NUJ Jigawa mourns its Pioneer Chairman

The Jigawa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has extended its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Malam Saif Muhammad, who passed away on Wednesday at his residence in Unguwa Uku, Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State, after a prolonged illness.
Muhammad, an indigene of Malamadori Local Government Area of Jigawa State was the pioneer Chairman of the NUJ Jigawa State Council and also served as the former Vice Chairman of the NUJ Kano State Council.
In a statement jointly signed by the Council Chairman, Comrade Isma’il Ibrahim Dutse, and Acting Secretary, Comrade Aminu Umar Shuwajo, the union described his death as a significant loss not only to his immediate family but also to the NUJ and the entire Muslim Ummah worldwide.
“The Jigawa State NUJ prays that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and provides his family with the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
