Yobe APC Appoints 17 LGAs Campaign Coordinators

The Yobe State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the appointment of campaign coordinators for its governorship candidate in the 17 local government areas of the state.
The state APC Chairman, Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, announced the Baba Malum Wali (BMW) Campaign Coordinators, in a statement issued on Friday in Damaturu.
In the statement, made available to newsmen by his Press Secretary, Hajiya Sa’adatu Maina, the Chairman said the BMW initiative is a strategic political engagement platform designed to also mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Mai Mala Buni, and the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali.
The party said the appointment of the coordinators reflects its commitment to strengthening internal unity, enhancing voter mobilisation, and securing victory in the 2027 elections.
It added that the development also follows recent reconciliation efforts by the party leadership aimed at uniting different political groups and aggrieved aspirants after the party’s primaries.
The BMW coordinators are Hon. Sani Dahiru El-Katuzu, Bade LGA; Alhaji Ibrahim Kandira Masaba, Bursari; Alhaji Zannah Bulama, Damaturu; Musa Karimu Janga, Fika; Hon. Abdulkadir Umar Jajere, Fune; Hon. Bukar Tijjani Geidam, Gaidam; and Hon. Nuhu Baba Hassan, Gujba.
Others include Bulama Mustapha Kukuwa, Gulani; Isa Garba Madago, Jakusko; Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi Jajimaji, Karasuwa; Magaji Maina Kuri, Machina; Hon. Salisu Yerima, Nangere; Musa Abdullahi (Abba Emir), Nguru; Alhaji Adamu Yaro, Potiskum; Dr. Lawan Mustapha Mala, Tarmuwa; Alhaji Awakuru, Yunusari; and Malam Baba Alkali, Yusufari.
Political observers believe the appointments will further strengthen the party’s internal cohesion and expand its grassroots support base as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
