ALGON to partner with Jigawa online media chapel for publicity

The Jigawa State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), has promised to partner with the state online media chapel towards publicizing and showcasing it’s activities to the people.
The state’s ALGON Chairman, Dr Sibu Abdullahi, stated this when he received the leadership of the chapel on a courtesy visit on Friday in Dutse.
Abdullahi said that the partnership was long overdue as it would help to highlight the numberous achievements of the 27 local government councils of the state.
“Your visit is timely, as we are approaching a critical time of political campaigns for the 2027 general elections, we must partner with you as critical stakeholders towards mass mobilisation of the people for the elections,” he said.
Abdullahi congratulated the leaders of the chapel on their election.
“I must congratulate you on your election as pioneer leaders of the Online Chapel, individually I had course to interact with some of you and based on records achievements individually I believe the sky will be the limit of the chapel.
“Partnerships with journalists at home and international level is a welcome idea. I assure you that we are ready to embrace your idea partnership for mutual benefits, It is a welcome development, all the 27 local government councils in the state are ready to partner with you and I’m sure the state Commissioner for Local Government Affairs will be willing to endorse the idea as it has lots of benefits.
“I know some of you have excelled in your various organizations long before you decided to go online, because you have been helping to communicate with the people at the grassroots.
“I believe you have great role to play towards showcasing the numberous achievements of the Gov. Umar Namadi led administration in the state,” he said.
Earlier speaking, Malam Sani Labaran Kanya, the Chairman of the chapel said that the visit was aimed at solidifying the relationship between the chapel and ALGON.
