A former chairman of Kajuru LGA, Cafra Caino, said the incident occurred on Sunday.
According to him, a large number of the armed bandits arrived the village at about 10am and went straight to the ECWA and Catholic churches, where worshippers had gathered for prayers.
He gave the name of the kidnapped pastor as Bernard Gajera.
There has been no response yet from the police authorities in Kaduna State over the incident.
The community has suffered repeated attacks by gunmen, and had recently contributed funds to build an outpost to facilitate immediate deployment of security personnel to the area.
