Buni Presents N320.8 Billion 2025 Budget

Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni has presented the state’s 2025 budget of N320.811 billion to the state assembly for approval.
A total of N176, 964,213,000 representing 55.1% of the proposal was for capital projects while, N144, 036,787,000.00 representing 44.9% was allocated to recurrent expenditure.
In a speech before the lawmakers, Buni said his administration will vigorously pursue all avenues to improve the living conditions of the people of the State.
“This budget when passed into law would surely address our challenges, improve our lives, and further make the State, a pride for us all,” he added.
Tagged ‘Budget of Economic Consolidation and Poverty Reduction’, the governor said priority will be given to education, healthcare, water supply, agriculture, road construction and women and youth empowerment, among others.
Buni commended people of the state for their remarkable understanding, support and cooperation, as well as prayers for the success of the administration.
