Gov Yusuf appoints Kannywood actor, Special Adviser
Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State, has appointed Malam Sani Danja, a popular Kannywood actor, as his Special Adviser on Youth and Sports.
This is contained in a statement on Sunday by the spokesperson for the governor, Malam Sanusi Bature in Kano.
Bature said that the governor had also appointed Dr Ibrahim Musa, a renowned public health expert and hematologist, as his Special Adviser on Health Services, and his Personal Physician.
“Others are Dr. Hadiza Lawan Ahmad – Special Adviser, Investment and Public-Private Partnership.
“Barr. Aminu Hussain – Special Adviser, Justice/Constitutional Matters, Dr. Ismail Lawan Suleiman – Special Adviser, Population and Malam Nasiru Isa Jarma – Special Adviser, NGOs,” he said.
Bature said that the governor had also redeployed some Heads of Agencies in the state.
He named those affected to include Hon. Wada Ibrahim Daho – Permanent Commissioner I, SUBEB.
“Hon. Ado Danjummai Wudil – Executive Secretary, Guidance and Counselling Board.
“Dr. Binta Abubakar – Executive Secretary, Agency for Mass Education,Hon. Abubakar Ahmad Bichi – Director General, Cottage and Street Hawking Agency.Hon. Abdullahi Yaryasa – Member, Assembly Service Commission.
“Dr. Yusuf Ya’u Gambo – Executive Chairman, Strategic Governance and Policy Coordination,” he said.
Bature said that the governor had also reassigned the following political office holders:Hon. Kabiru Getso Haruna – Executive Secretary, State Scholarship Board, Hon. Rabi’u Saleh Gwarzo – Executive Secretary, Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board (KSSSSMB), and Dr. Kabiru Ado Zakirai – Executive Secretary, Kano State Library Board.
Others were Dr. Abubakar Musa Yakubu – Medical Director, Government House Clinic, Yusuf Jibrin Oyoyo – Special Adviser, Students’ Matters, Hon. Isa Musa Kumurya – Special Adviser, Marshals and Hajia Fatima Abubakar Amneef – Special Adviser, Enlightenment and Social Mobilization and Comrade Nura Iro Ma’aji – Special Adviser, Employment.
“These appointments and reassignments take immediate effect,” he said.
