NOA Launches Campaign Against Unethical Behaviours

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), has launched a campaign to discourage unethical behaviours and raise the consciousness of Nigerians to contribute to the security of the nation.
The Syndicate reports that the campaign also focused on raising awareness of young people on HIV/AIDS, human rights and the positives in Federal government’s tax reform.
NOA Director-General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, represented by Nura Yusuf Kobi, Director Planning, Research and Strategy, said in Damaturu, Yobe State, said that it was time for Nigerians to take full responsibility of engineering the country towards positive outcomes.
He said, “This initiative is more than campaign, it’s a call to action for all Nigerians to unite and take responsibility for our nation’s health, security and ethical values.
“Together, we can overcome the challenges and create a society that reflects our collective aspirations.”
Mallam Lanre added that the campaign seeks to address the get-rich-quick syndrome by promoting hardwork and ethical practices, expecially during the festive season.
He emphasized that the tax reform agenda seeks to create a fairer and simpler system, easing burdens on low-income earners and using tax revenues to improve public service.
The director-general called on traditional and religious leaders, civil society organisations and the media to amplify the campaign’s messages so as to drive meaningful changes in all communities.
In his remarks, Yobe State Director of NOA, Malam Ali Audu, reiterated the significance of the campaign, saying it is a national movement to build a healthier, safer and more united Nigeria.
