Alia Meets North Central Commission Leaders, Harps On infrastructure, Industrial Development

The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia on Thursday met with the leadership of the North Central Development Commission, led by Mr. Tsenyil Cyril, during which they discussed issues related to the development of the region.
A statement issued by Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said the meeting was a shared moment of purpose, conversation about the progress, possibilities, and future of the region.
Governor Alia used the opportunity to appraise the leadership of the commission to the steady transformation taking place across Benue State in the areas of infrastructure, including new roads that connect communities, agricultural programmes breathing life into rural economies, security of lives and properties and efforts to restore people’s confidence in government.


Mr. Cyril, in turn, shared the Commission’s vision for the North Central region, which include the modernisation of infrastructure, industrial growth, and real opportunities for citizens.
Together, they reflected on the collective journey of the region under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.
Both agreed to push investments in security, support for farmers, empower the people and strengthen regional collaboration.
