Banditry: Reps Member Distributes Foodstuffs To 350 Widows in Malumfashi LGA

A total of 350 widows whose husbands were killed by bandits in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State have been supported with foodstuffs by the member representing Malumfashi/Kafur federal constituency, Alhaji Aminu Ibrahim Kafur.
The distribution of the items was coordinated by the National and State Emergency Management Agencies at Malumfashi Local Government Secretariat, on Saturday.
The items included bags of rice, maize, beans, seasoning and tomato paste.
The House of Representatives member, represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Dr. Mustapha Lawal Malumfashi, said it was the sixth time he is extending support to victims of banditry in the constituency.
He urged the beneficiaries to utilise the items in taking care of their children and other dependants.
In separate remarks, the beneficiaries drawn from Karfi, Yaba, Dayi, Marmara, Malumfashi da Kafur, thanked the lawmaker for the gesture.
The NEMA and SEMA officials at the event said they have been working closely with the lawmaker to extend support to people displaced and affected in various ways by bandits in the area.
