Breaking: Bandits Abduct Yankuzo District Head In Zamfara
Bandits have abducted the District Head of Yankuzo in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Alhaji Babangida Kogo, local media reported on Wednesday.
There was however no further details on the incident.
The Syndicate recalls that the immediate former district head of Yankuzo, Alhaji Hamza Kogo was shot by bandits and later died at the Federal Medical Center, Gusau in December 2022.
Yankuzo is the hometown of the dreaded bandits’ leader, Ado Aliero, who was declared wanted by the government, but still operating openly in Zamfara and neighbouring states
