BREAKING: Committee uncovers 3, 488 ghost workers in Katsina
The verification committee set up by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda to determine the total number of workers in the 34 local government councils in the state, has uncovered 3, 488 ghost workers.
The figure is out of the 50, 172 local councils’ and local education authorities’ workers verified by the committee.
The Chairman of the verification committee, Alhaji Abdullahi Gagare, said a total of N453, 374, 110 being paid as salary to the ghost workers, would now be saved by the government monthly.
