Commissioner tasks Jigawa Council Staff to participate in CVR

The Permanent Commissioner, Jigawa Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Sani Umar Madaxi, has tasked members of staff Kaugama local council, to register and acquire their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in the ongoing INEC Continuous Voters Registration(CVR).
Madaxi stated this in Kaugama, during a familiarisation and sensitisation tour of Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.
Alhaji Musa Muhammad, Secretary information chapel/information officer kaugama local government council, said this in a statement on Monday in Dutse.
Muhammad said that the commissioner added that the possession of the PVCs was not only to vote for the ruling party, but to enable them to exercise their franchise as well as a tool for identification purpose.
He said states with largest number of PVCs and party membership cards would be considered in terms of enhanced federal monthly allocation.
In his response , the Kaugama local council chairman, Hon. Usman masaki Dansule pledged to continue to support the ongoing party registration as well as the CVR in the council.
Earlier, the Director, Administration and General Services of the Council, Malam Shu’aibu Na abba commended Gov. Umar Namadi’s administration’s for considering staff on early promotion, salary increment and other motivations that would encourage them to discharge their duties diligently.
