Dangote begins free delivery of petrol September 15
The free direct supply of petrol across the country by Dangote refinery will commence on September 15, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
It however said the delivery would commence in eleven states before escalating it nationwide.
The states are Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Abuja, Delta, Rivers, Edo, and Kwara states.
“All petrol station owners nationwide are invited to register for free delivery and other benefits,” it added.
The Syndicate reports that Dangote refinery has procured 4,000 trucks for the direct products distribution.
The initiative is expected to offer lower energy costs to over 42 million MSMEs and create over 15,000 direct jobs in the logistics value chain, and save Nigerians over 1.7 trillion naira annually in distribution costs.
Meanwhile, the refinery said it its ex-gantry price of petrol is now N820 per litre.
