Dangote Donates N250m To Mokwa Flood Victims

 

Africa’s richest man and Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has donated N250 million to Mokwa flood victims.

Dangote made the donation when he paid a condolence visit to Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago at the Niger State Liaison office in Abuja.

He commiserated with the government and people of Niger state over the loss of lives and properties in the unfortunate incident.

A statement by Bologi Ibrahim, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, said Dangote’s visit forms part of high-profile sympathy visits by individuals, governments and corporate bodies to the governor since the devastating Mokwa flood.

Governor Bago thanked Dangote for the donation and pledged that the money will reach the intended targets.
