FBI neutralise man who threatened Biden

FBI agents on Wednesday fatally shot a man in Utah who was under investigation for threats against US President Joe Biden.

The man was not identified, but reports said FBI agents raided a home in Provo where the man lives.

The investigation began in April, and the Secret Service was alerted in June, anonymous officials told ABC News.

Investigators had determined the man’s threats of physical harm were credible and went to the house with a search and arrest warrant.

“The incident began when special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence,” an FBI spokesperson told the news channel.

“The subject is deceased. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously,” the spokesperson added.
