Gov. Namadi visits tanker explosion site, pledges free treatment for injured

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has visited the site of the tragic tanker explosion in Majia town, Taura Local Government Area, on Wednesday.
More than 105 people died in the explosion and 55 others severely injured and hospitalised.
The governor expressed his condolences to the families of the victims at those who died and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant their souls eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
In addition, the governor also prayed for the recovery of the injured and pledged that the state government would take full responsibility for their medical treatment.
Namadi also assured that all necessary measures would be taken to provide support in the aftermath of the tragedy.
