Gov Radda Hails Rep Tafoki’s Multi Million Naira Empowerment Programme
The Katsina State Governor, Umar Dikko Radda has hailed the member representing Faskari/Kankara/Sabuwa Federal Constituency, Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki, for providing multi-million Naira empowerment support to his constituents.
A statement by Kabir Isa Bala, Special Advisor, Media and Strategy to the Rep Member, said the empowerment package included 9 Pickup vehicles, 5 Cars, 71 Motorcycles, 205 Grinding Machines, 115 Sewing Machines, 55 POS Machines with ₦100,000:00 each, 50 Wheel Chairs, ten thousand exercise books and ₦30 Million shared to 400 persons as startup capital.
“I congratulate you on two folds. One because you have made the right choice to the National Assembly and secondly because of the goodies you are receiving today from your right choice. Once again I say congratulations.” Dr. Radda posited.
Gov Radda while flagging off the distribution of the items in Kankara town remarked that the items being distributed especially to women, the youth and people living with disabilities would enhance the social and economic Status of the beneficiaries.
He noted that the empowerment package is interndem with the vision and mission of the APC on Wealth Creation, Inclusivity in Good Governance and taming poverty, or Youthful idleness, pointing out further that the empowerment also guarantees equity and equality while offering sense of belonging to everyone especially Disabled persons and the less privileged.
The Governor enjoined the beneficiaries to utilise the items so as to add value to their families and their communities in general.
In a remark of appreciation, Hon Shehu Dalhatu expresses gratitude and appreciation to the State Governor, Dr. Umar Dikko Radda for the encouragement, unwavering support and guidance he offers to all appointees and elected Persons of Katsina extraction at all three tiers of government and those in the private sector.
