Governor Radda appoints Sani-Mashi, Gojo-Gojo, 21 others
KATSINA – Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina State has approved the appointment of 14 Special Advisers and nine heads of government agencies and parastatals.
A statement from the office of Director General Media to the governor, on Tuesday in Katsina said all the appointments are with immediate effect.
The Special Advisers were Abubakar Ahmadi-Tsanni, Sports and Social Development; Mannir Mu’azu-Ruma, Market Development; Yusuf Ibrahim-Safana, Community Security Watch; and Nasidi Mohammed-Danladi, Community Development.
Others are Shafi’u Abdu-Duwan, Party Liaison; Ya’u Ahmad, Employment Promotion; Ya’u Umar Gojo-Gojo, Political Affairs; Shehu Abdu-Daura, Drugs and Narcotics; and Nura Saleh-Katsaya, Primary Education.
The rest included Murtala Isah-Kankara; National Assembly Matters; Mustapha Mahmud, Human Capital Development; Nasiru Lawal Aminu, Infrastructure Development; Suleiman Yusuf-Jibia, Livestock and Grazing; and Aminu Lawal, Youth Development.
Similarly, those appointed by the Governor to head agencies and parastatals with immediate effect include
Prof. Sani Abubakar Mashi as Chairman, Board of Internal Revenue.
Others are Dr Surajo Yazid-Abukur, Managing Director, Katsina State Roads Maintenance Agency; Abubakar Matazu, General Manager, Rural Electrification Board; and Haruna Musa-Rigoji, General Manager, Katsina State Transport Authority.
Other heads of agencies are Ibrahim Tukur-Jikamshi, Director General, Katsina State Investment Promotion Agency; Umar Mammada, Executive Secretary, Drugs and Medical Supplies Agency; Dr. Sabiu Liadi, General Manager, Katsina State Hospital Services Management Board.
Radda also appointed Dr Abdurrahim Muhammad-Ma’ji as his Personal Physician, and Garba Dahiru-Bindawa as member, Katsina State Independent Electoral Commission.
