Group collaborates to address insecurity, poverty

The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) will collaborate with all stakeholders to address the pressing issues of insecurity and extreme poverty in the northern part of Nigeria, the Jigawa state Coordinator of the CNG, Comrade Ukashatu Bello said in Dutse on Saturday.
Comrade Ukashatu in his inaugural address after the election of the CNG executives of the state, said “Nigeria and Nigerians are in critical situation more especially in the areas of security and economic sectors which need all hands to be on deck for proper and lasting solutions”.
According to him, the coalition would pay attention in tackling the pressing challenges of insecurity, poverty, and lack of access to education and healthcare.
“At this juncture, it is imperative that we must work together to address the pressing issues facing our people,” he added, and promised an open, all inclusive leadership to ensure transparency and accountability in order to achieve the desired objectives.
Comrade Ukashatu also pledged to work tirelessly to strengthen the coalition’s role in promoting unity, peace, and justice in the region.
Other executives members included Shamsudeen Sani Kandi, Deputy State Coordinator, Nazir Garki, Secretary, and others responsible for various operations in the organisation.
