Israel bombs journalists in Iranian TV station
The Israeli army on Monday bombed the official Iranian TV building in an attempt to destroy the station and kill journalists working there.
The strikes cut off live broadcasts, injuring several staff members, the official news agency IRNA said.
However, the Iranian state television resumed broadcasting after a brief interruption, airing from different studios, according to Iranian media.
Israel has targeted journalists in Gaza killing 178 as at June 12, 2025. It has also closed offices of foreign media organisations reporting the war with Iran, Gaza and Lebanon.
