Jigawa Assembly celebrates Namadi’s life of service, leadership

The Jigawa State House of Assembly has hailed Governor Umar Namadi’s life of service and leadership, which manifest in the huge transformation being witnessed in the state.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, said this in a message to mark the governor’s 63rd birthday.
“Reaching this significant milestone is not only a testament to God’s grace upon your life, but also a moment of celebration for all of us who witness your tireless dedication to the service of our dear state,” he said.
He noted that Namadi’s leadership has been defined by integrity and a commitment that continues to inspire confidence across the state.
The Speaker also highlighted the impact of the administration’s 12-point agenda, which has translated into tangible development across the state.
“Your agenda is not just a policy document but a living promise being fulfilled through various developmental projects. We celebrate your wisdom, calm disposition in the face of challenges, and unwavering commitment to the Greater Jigawa vision,” Dangyatin added.
He commended the cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arms, attributing it to the governor’s respect for democratic principles and institutional independence.
According to him, the synergy has enabled the Assembly to pass critical people-centered laws, ensuring delivery of development at the grassroots.
Dangyatin said the governor remains a dependable partner in the task of state-building, noting that his pragmatic approach has strengthened peace, collaboration and effective governance.
He prayed to God to give the governor health, wisdom and strength to sustain ongoing development efforts and lead the state to greater heights.
