Jigawa Senator Donates 120 Motorcycles to Constituents

Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has distributed 120 motorcycles to ward executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 12 local local government areas of Jigawa North West Senatorial Zone.
The motorcycles were donated by the senator presenting the area, Senator Babangida Hussaini Kazaure.
The governor charged the party leaders to redouble their commitment in promoting the integrity and unity of the APC.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to uplifting the social and economical lives of the people.
Governor Namadi said as party leaders, the APC executives are agents of the government in their respective domains, and should strive to propagate the laudable development strides of the administration.

In his speech, Senator Babangida said the 120 motorcycles were meant to ease movement and encourage the ward executives to discharge their duties with ease.
“Since of our inception in 2023, we have done a lot and positively touched the lives of our people through constituency projects and with our personal resources in differents support interventions and empowerments.”
These, he said, include hundreds of classrooms blocks, medical equipment and drugs, farming inputs and implements, training for women and youth, and employment in federal ministries and parastatals including military and paramilitary.
“Here Kazaure local government area, we constructed Mathematics and Statistics Complex at Hussain Adamu Federal Polytechnic, constructed blocks of two and three classrooms at GSS Kanti and GDSS Gada, donated e-JAMB scratch card to 50 students this year, offered N50,000 grand to each BSc students and paid school fees for 106 students of Federal Government Collage Kazaure for three years, etc.
“In line with our determination in complementing the efforts of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi in job creation and economic empowerment, we trained women and youth in shoe and bag making, and provided them with takeoff grant.
“I provided 5 youth from each of the 12 local government areas in my constituency POS machines and a grant of N50,000. Also, we provided 18 trailers of NPK fertilizer to farmers and the party to support bumper harvest in this raining season”.
The senator said he also reconstructed and modernized the Kazaure Emir’s palace, and the township stadiums in Kazaure, Gumel and Ringim for national league matches.
