Kano CP Commissions New Police Division, Harps On Building Trust

The Commissioner of Police in Kano State, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, on Tuesday, commissioned a new Police Division in Kabo as part of efforts to strengthen community policing in the state.

He said that the opening of the facility was a significant step towards improving policing services in the community.

Bakori added that the police disional office would not only strengthen community policing, but also improve emergency response and foster trust between law enforcement and the public.

He therefore urged residents to collaborate with the police to ensure a more secure environment for all in the area.

The commissioner of police expressed appreciation to Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin for facilitating the project and his unwavering commitment to safety and security in the state.

In a related development, Bakori also visited Dawakin Tofa to inspect the ongoing construction of a Police barrack.

The visit, which was part of the commissioner’s assessment of the welfare and operational readiness of officers of the command, reassured his full commitment to improving their living and working conditions.

He extended the gratitude of the command to all stakeholders contributing to advancing security in the state, as a shared dedication to ensuring peace and safety for all.
