Kano CP decorates 154 newly promoted Traffic Wardens, urges them to shun corruption

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr Salman Garba, has decorated 154 newly promoted Traffic Wardens with new ranks, with a call on them to shun corruption and ensure smooth traffic flow.
This is contained in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna on Tuesday in Kano.
Haruna said that Dogo congratulated the promoted officers and charged them to redouble their efforts in ensuring smooth traffic flow and maintaining law and order on Kano Roads.
“You have been entrusted with greater responsibility, and I expect you to discharge your duties with integrity, professionalism, and commitment to serving the public,” he said.
He also advised them to shun all forms of corrupt practice, and prioritize the safety and well-being of road users
The commissioner assured the public of his commitment to ensuring effective security measures in the state, as previously stated.
“The promotion of Traffic Wardens is part of the Inspector-General of Police efforts to enhance traffic management and improve public safety. The Kano State Police Command remains committed to serving the public with dedication and integrity,” he said.
