Kano shifts schools resumption date for 2024/2025 session
The Kano State Government has shifted the resumption date for both Primary and Post Primary Schools for the 2024/2025 academic session from Sept. 9 to Sept. 16.

A statement signed by the Director of the Public Enlightenment in the state’s Ministry of Education, Malam Balarabe Kiru on Sunday in Kano.
Kiru said that the postponement was caused by some urgent reasons.
” I wish to inform pupils, students and parents that the announcement earlier made for schools resumption on 8th and 9th Sept, 2024 is now being postponed due to some urgent reasons that would help in improving conducive learning atmosphere for our children. Another day for the resumption will be announced in due course ” he stated.
He appealed to the people concern especially students and parents/guardians to bear with any inconvenience that may be caused due to the postponement.
