Katsina CP Tasks Newly Deployed ASPs To Uphold Professionalism, Integrity, Human Rights
The Commissioner of Police in Katsina State, Bello Shehu, has tasked the 29 newly posted Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) from the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, to uphold professionalism, discipline, and integrity as they begin their policing careers in the state.
The Commissioner, who met with the officers, congratulated them on their successful graduation and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their duties, respect and protect human rights, and always display the core values of integrity, professionalism, and service to the public, cherished by the service.
He said that their roles as police officers come with great responsibility, which include maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.
Shehu therefore advised them to be courteous, fair, and respectful in their interactions with the public, and work closely with other security agencies and community stakeholders in securing Katsina State.
The new ASPs, who have since been deployed to their various duty posts, are expected to assume responsibilities immediately and support the Command’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and security across Katsina state.
