Katsina to train 10,000 teachers on 21st Century Teaching Methodologies
The Katsina State Government will commence the training of 10,000 teachers on 21st Century Teaching Methodologies.
The training will be conducted by the state Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education in collaboration with Transforming Education System at State Level (TESS).
Among the teachers to undergo the transformative teaching techniques are the 7,325 teachers newly recruited by the state government.
According to Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, the training exemplifies Governor Dikko Radda’s vision for quality education, which aligns with his administration’s vision of building a brighter future for the state.
The training will commence on July 9, in Katsina, Mohammed said in a statement on Wednesday.
He said it would mark the beginning of an intensive training programme designed to equip educators with latest teaching methodologies to ensure that Katsina state students receive world-class education.
“This investment in teachers is an investment in the future of Katsina state and Nigeria at large,” he added.
