Kaugama local council of Jigawa installs 50 solar street lights for enhanced security

The Chairman of the Kaugama local government council of Jigawa State, Hon. Usman Masaki Dansule, has installed 50 solar street lights in some communities and business places to enhance security in the areas.
Alhaji Musa Muhammad (Secretary, Information Chapel) ; Information Officer, Kaugama local government council, stated this in a statement.
Muhammad said that the benefiting communities included Garin Ƙyari, Yalleman, Dakaiyawa Market, Daneri and Kaugama Market.
Speaking, the Council Chairman, Hon. Usman Masaki Dansule, said the solar street lights would improve security in the area as well as enhance decorations for the people to be free from darkness.
He urged members of the communities to protect and safeguard the street lights from vandalisation.
He added that gradually each communities would benefit from the solar street lights project for them to enjoy the dividends of democracy under his tenure.
