Kebbi Govt Announces ‘Incisive Decisions’ To Decimate Lakurawa Terrorists
Kebbi State Security Council has taken incisive decisions to tackle the activities of Lakurawa and other criminal elements threatening the peace in the state.
The expanded security council meeting, presided by Governor Nasir Idris, was held on Saturday in Birnin Kebbi.
It had in attendance three former governors, Sen. Muhammad Adamu Aliero, Alhaji Sa’idu Dakingari and Sen. Atiku Bagudu, heads of security agencies, local government chairmen, and other critical stakeholders.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Col. Danladi Ribah Hassan (rtd), who briefed newsmen after the enlarged security council meeting, said the government remains committed to safeguarding the lives and properties of all residents of the state.
“Incisive decisions were taken to tackle the activities of Lakurawa and other criminal elements threatening the peace in the state.
“Matters concerning the security of the state were thoroughly discussed, and implementation will be left to the security agencies.
“Kebbi people should know that this meeting has produced far-reaching measures that will curb the menace of Lakurawa and strengthen security across the state,” the Special Adviser said.
