LP Chairman Kidnapped While Delivering Ransom For Abducted Pastor
The Chairman of the Labour Party in Aboro Ward, Mr. Danjuma Musa, popularly known as Bazama, was reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday evening in Mararaba, Aboro Ward, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
According to local sources, Mr. Musa was abducted around 7 p.m. while delivering ransom for the release of Pastor Ali, a cleric who had earlier been kidnapped in the same community.
Despite reportedly handing over the ransom demanded for the pastor’s release, the kidnappers allegedly reneged on their promise and abducted Mr. Musa as well.
The abductors are said to have demanded an additional ransom of N4 million for Mr. Musa’s release.
As of the time of filing this report, both victims remain in captivity.
