NAHCON Announces 2026 Hajj Fare

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the fares for the 2026 pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
The commission said the fares were approved “after due consultations with all the relevant stakeholders, including the Forum of States leadership and obtaining the approval of the Federal Government.”
The Chairman of the Hajj commission, Professor Abdullahi Sale Usman said on Friday that intending pilgrims from Yobe, Borno, Adamawa and Taraba states will pay N8,118,33.67, while other Northern states will pay N8,244,813.67 as Hajj fare.
He added that all Muslim pilgrims from the 17 states in the southern part of the country will pay N8,561,013.67.
“Compared to what was charged last year, this year, each pilgrim is to pay average of two hundred thousand naira less,” he added.
The NAHCON chairman said all intending pilgrims should complete their payment before December 31, 2025.
