The Special Assistant to the Jigawa State Governor on Health Monitoring in Gwaram Local Government Area, Comrade Ayuba Muhammad, has congratulated Governor Umar Namadi and the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a press statement made available to The Syndicate in Dutse, the state capital, Muhammad lauded Namadi’s exemplary leadership and humanitarian spirit, particularly the Ramadan feeding programme which reportedly catered for over eight million vulnerable residents across the state.
Comrade Ayuba Muhammad described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the governor’s deep commitment to the welfare of the people, noting that thousands of others including civil servants, women groups, Almajirai in Tsangaya schools, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at various levels, also benefited from the food and cash assistance during the holy month.
He reaffirmed his unflinching loyalty and total support to Governor Namadi, stressing that the governor’s people-oriented policies continue to inspire confidence and strengthen grassroots governance across Jigawa State.
The aide expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting Muslims the strength, patience, and devotion to complete the sacred fast, urging the faithful to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan.
He described Eid-el-Fitr as a period not only of celebration but also of reflection and renewed commitment to the core values of Islam, including compassion, humility, discipline, and generosity.
“True success lies not only in observing Ramadan but in sustaining its teachings in our daily lives,” he stated, calling for continued support for the less privileged in society.
Comrade Ayuba also commended religious leaders, scholars, and Imams for their roles in promoting unity, moral discipline, and peaceful coexistence during Ramadan, urging them to sustain the momentum.
Reiterating his dedication to the governor’s developmental vision, he pledged continued support for policies aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and enhancing effective health monitoring systems in Gwaram LGA.
He further advised residents to maintain proper hygiene during and after the festive period to prevent the spread of diseases, while also urging vigilance and cooperation with security agencies to ensure peace and safety.
Comrade Ayuba concluded with prayers for Allah’s acceptance of all acts of worship, forgiveness of shortcomings, and the opportunity for Muslims to witness many more Eid celebrations in peace, good health, and prosperity.
