The Fadama component of NG-CARES has distributed motorcycles to its facilitators in Jigawa State to ensure effective service delivery.
The motorcycles were handed to the facilitators by NG-CARES Coordinator in Jigawa state, Dr. Aliyu Inuwa.
Inuwa explained that the motorcycles were meant to enhance field work operations and effective service delivery for better results.
The coordinator urged the facilitators to adhere to the signed agreements, which mandate proper use and maintenance of the motorcycles.
“These motorcycles are provided to ease your fieldwork and improve the overall impact of FADAMA CARES in Jigawa State. It is your responsibility to ensure they are used solely for the intended purposes,” he added.
An official, Mr Aminu Adamu commended the facilitators for their efforts to ensure the success of FADAMA CARES programme in all the nooks and crannies of the state.
Mr Adamu said the gesture is part of the programme’s acknowledgement of the work they were doing and reward for their unrelenting efforts.
He also urged them to ensure proper maintenance and security of the motorcycles.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Malam Yahaya from Kazaure described the intervention as a timely solution to the challenges they face in reaching rural communities.
He however said that the organisation should support them with fueling and maintenance of the motorcycles.
Malam Yahaya assured their commitment to effectively achieve the goals of the FADAMA CARES initiative.
