Niger State Govt Commences Construction of 40km Mararaban Dandaudu-Zumba road
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has performed the groundbreaking of the 40 kilometer Mararaban Dandaudu-Gwada-Kuta-Rafinkuka-Zumba road.
The groundbreaking ceremony was performed at Mararaban Dandaudu in Munya local government area.
The road project spans across Munya and Shiroro local government areas.
The governor said that the road project would ease movement of people and goods, and also reduce travel time for the people of the two council areas.
He reiterated his administration’s determination to the rapid development of the state under the New Niger agenda.
Bago disclosed that the road project will be executed by the same contractor that handled the 5km township road in Munya.
The ceremony was witnessed by the state Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa, the Emir of Minna Alhaji Umaru Faruk Bahago and other top government officials.
