Nigeria, Brazil sign MoU on defence, renewable energy, others

Nigeria and Brazil have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on defence, renewable energy and other key areas including cultural exchange.
The two countries signed the MoU during the second session of the Nigeria-Brazil Strategic Dialogue Mechanism which began on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Nigerian Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar and Brazil’s Vice President Geraldo Alckmin represented their countries.
This was contained in a statement made available to The Syndicate by the Special Assistant to the minister on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mati Ali.
The MoU is to open new investment opportunities, enhance cooperation in defence, agriculture, trade and industry, science and technology, and strengthen strategic business partnerships between Nigeria and Brazil.
It also covered other key areas including renewable energy, and cultural exchange.
