The Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Is-haq Oloyede says the board is not in a hurry to release the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Syndicate reports that the examination commenced on Thursday April 24, and will be concluded on April 29.
A total of 2,031,000 candidates registered for the examination, and as at Monday, 1.6 million had sat for the test.
Oyolede said that they would thoroughly scrutinise the UTME results for any possible case of malpractice before releasing it.
He said the more than 40 people arrested for impersonation in the course of the examination will be prosecuted.
“This is one of our best examinations so far, for which we are grateful to God. But you can also see that some people are making a case out of no case.”
