No plan to replace Edun, despite health condition – Onanuga
The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga says there is no plan by the President to replace Mr Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.
Edun is said to be paralysed and currently receiving treatment abroad.
Onanuga confirmed that the minister was “indisposed”, but said there has been no move whatsoever to remove him as minister.
“Mr Wale Edun, as we said in that statement, is indisposed. That is the situation; all these speculations that the President wants to appoint someone else is not true. He is indisposed and he is recovering,” he said.
