Olubadan Dies At 90
The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has died at the age of 90, exactly a year after his coronation as the paramount ruler of Ibadan land.
Oba Olakulehin, who succeeded late Oba Lekan Balogun, died in the early hours of Monday.
A source close to the Olubadan-In-Council said the Oba joined his ancestors this morning.
A government statement is expected later today.
A former Governor of Oyo State, Rashidi Ladoja is the next in line to the Olubadan throne.
